Health & Wellbeing at Work
Work promotes both physical and mental health. Helping people keep their jobs when they acquire health conditions is a major concern for the Government.
Working for Health is the Government’s programme to improve the health of the working age population. The programme is lead by Dame Carol Black, National Director for Health and Work, who lead the first review of the impact of ill health on the working age population.

Business Case for Disability
The business case for disability is strong. Research shows that people who manage health conditions take less sick time and stay with employers longer.
