New Employment Project with Surrey County Council starts.
SSE has successfully bid to the Department of Health for a Targeted Innovation Fund project to support people with severe mental health conditions to access employment opportunities with Surrey County Council.
Temporary vacancies in Surrey CC are managed by the Manpower agency. The project will establish a strong link between Manpower staff and SSE Members Richmond Fellowship and ESRA to identify suitable vacancies for the people they support.
Support and training for the employing managers in Surrey County Council will be provided as part of the project. The target is to support 20-25 people into work in the next six months.
